History of the pine afforestation campaign
In 2020 began the campaign of afforestation of pines with a total of 100 planted pines, this initiative was promoted in the framework of the implementation of good fair trade practices and the desire to care for and protect the environment.
Our progress
From 2020 to 2021, the number of pines increased by 500%. While in 2022 it is expected to increase by 25% compared to the previous year.
Our goal
It is expected to have an arithmetic increase of 25% each year to cover the 5 hectares of land that is allocated for the afforestation campaign.
Although it is true, pine is an exotic species, which we are evaluating with native species progressively.

Pine is a renewable natural resource that contributes through its important functions as in the aspect of photosynthesis, to absorb atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2) and produce oxygen.
Forest plantations are the habitat of a large number of new animal species that find a suitable niche for their development.
