History of the Ella Exporta Program
According to PROMPERU (Peruvian Export and Tourism Promotion Commission), in the last 4 years, the «Ella Exporta» program has trained more than 100 women entrepreneurs.
The programme was initiated through the inter-agency partnership between PROMPERU and the Embassy of the United States of America.
Currently, the program is located in the regions of Ayacucho, Arequipa, Cusco, Huancayo, Lima and San Martín.
In addition, it seeks to boost women entrepreneurs who have an internationalization strategy in their company.
Some of the sectors covered were food chains such as cocoa, chocolate, coffee, sacha inchi and quinoa, jewelry and clothing.
With the aim of strengthening the soft and technical skills of women entrepreneurs, training was provided in logistics, finance, corporate social responsibility, digital marketing and business.
