Meet Roberto, our grower. Who shared with us his story: «My name is Roberto, from the town of Chichucancha, province , district of Cangallo, in the region of Ayacucho. I am one of the producers of quinoa of the red and white variety Junín. »
«I go producing 11 years ago, through my older brother I learned to sow and this is how I followed the path of growing quinoa. »

Roberto: «We mostly get organic quinoa, which is why we plant island guano. We use land where there aren’t many weeds. But, this year we have had enough weather mishaps, because the rain has been delayed. »

«As a member of ASPAGRO, with the income I earn I invest in renting more land, buying more fertilizer, acquiring goods and in the education of my children. »
