ASPAGRO – Organic quinoa from Peru

Quinoa Pizza

Pizza is one of everyone’s favorites, but what if we mix it with something nutritious? This is possible by adding a high carbohydrate content that will provide you with energy, that is why we present you the Quinoa Pizza and we will teach you how to prepare it so that you can feed your whole family with nutrition.

Serves: 4 servings


1 cup ASPAGRO quinoa
1 teaspoon salt
1/3 cups of water
4 tablespoons olive oil
2 clove of garlic
1/2 onion
4 tomatoes, crushed
½ zucchini 
4 mushrooms
Cheese to taste (omit for vegan version)



Cook the quinoa for 15 minutes, then strain and reserve.
Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan, fry the onion, minced garlic, oregano and the crushed tomatoes.
After 10 minutes, blend the sauce.
Once blended, return the sauce to a simmer.
Preheat the oven to 200 °.
FOR THE DOUGH: Put the quinoa in a blender with half a glass of water and a peeled garlic.
Beat until you get a homogeneous dough. On a baking paper spread the dough with the help of a knife until it is about a centimeter thick.
Put it in the oven for 15 min. Turn it over and do the same procedure.
Slice the mushrooms and zucchini.
When removing the pizza dough, spread a layer of tomato sauce, add the mushrooms, cheese, zucchini and oregano.
Bake for 10 more minutes and the pizza is ready.
